In addition to my work in the field of communications, I'm a practicing theater and film artist! One project I'm most proud of is my debut narrative short film Care Taker, which completed principal photography in May 2025. I served as Writer/Executive Producer, as well as established the film's early branding and presence on social media beginning in January 2025.
Logline: A young trans man navigates the aftermath of a difficult day caring for his newly disabled mother.
When I first started reaching out to my creative network about Care Taker, I created a pitch deck to share with prospective collaborators using mood board photos sourced from Pinterest and stills from other films that had a visual tone that fit the energy of the script.

This mock poster I created using Canva was displayed at a pop-up booth during a fundraising event at the Clark Park Farmer's Market in West Philadelphia.
Given the target audience age range for this project (18-24 and 25-32), I determined that building an audience on Instagram and TikTok would yield the best engagement results with the limited time frame we had leading up to principal photography weekend.
I posted 3-4 times a week using a variety of content buckets to grow our audience, with an early focus on narrative mission and our Seed&Spark crowdfunding campaign.
How I Put It Together:
Pre-production vlogs sharing behind-the-scenes of milestones like location scouting and crowdfunding.
Static profiles of cast and crew with designs featuring each team member's baby photo, tying into the nostalgic themes of the film.
Trends the house down! A creative project like CARE TAKER provided ample opportunities to pick up followers by participating in trends that blended our grassroots brand voice with youthful spirit and calls to action.
The Final Deliverables:
A combined online community of 250+ organic followers in the span of 4 months!
Over $5,100 raised for production entirely through digital marketing/crowdfunding campaign.
